Synopsis: This piece is 1 of 6 created for "Lost As Heat", an interactive DVD-Video disc. Like a green forest filled with activity and energy is how I've depicted a well-known intersection in Tokyo. The Shibuya area in Tokyo is a bit like Times Square in New York; lots of people, signs, etc. In a mandala-esque way, two different shots are mirrored and overlapped to create an abstracted depiction of hundreds of people and vehicles traversing the intersection.

Production Notes: This piece is somewhat inspired by the time-lapse photography seen in the film "Koyaanisqatsi". The sound for this piece (and the others on the DVD) is mixed in surround. The percussion sounds were programmed and recorded by myself using a drum-pad synthesizer.
